Usher Dissapears After Las Vegas Night In 'WHERE'S USHER?' Short Film
Taraji P. Henson, Ludacris, and Lil Jon rush to find Usher ahead of his Super Bowl performance in a comedic short film. The crew realizes the “King Of R&B” is missing following an epic night in Las Vegas at an Anderson.Paak party.
Splitting up in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated fashion, the three stars separate and attempt to locate the “Superstar” performer. Locating clues and enlisting the help of Leslie Snipes (the fictional cousin of Wesley Snipes), the trio runs into celebrities in their search, which is set to Usher’s greatest hits.
Songs featured in the short film include “U Got It Bad,” “Confessions Part II,” “Confessions (Interlude),” “Climax,” “Bad Girl,” “U Make Me Wanna,” “Nice & Slow,” “Can U Help Me,” “Burn,” and the mega-hit “Yeah!”
Ahead of the anticipated Super Bowl LVIII matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, the Atlanta native shared what fans can expect from his headlining Apple Music Halftime Show. The performance, described as 30 years in the making, is set to be two minutes longer than the traditional halftime showcase.
“It’s 12 to 15 minutes. So it’s really hard to determine what moment matters more than others, especially with a new song,” the chart-topping singer explained. “But there’s the dance, the wardrobe, the lighting, how long you stay in a song, the fact that the audience may sing along… It’s a lot. So I’m trying my hardest not to overthink it.”
